ESRC - Franco-British Social Science and Humanities Collaborative Programme
Invitation of Proposals for Collaborative Workshops Proposals are invited for joint workshops / conferences in five areas of research (Migration, Diasporas and Identities in the European Context - Health, Environment and Lifestyles - Mind, Cognition and Complexity - Productivity in a Globalised Economy - Terrorism and the new International Relations System), in pursuit of further collaboration between British and French scholars to be supported over the next 2-3 years. These are being sponsored jointly by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in France, and by the Arts & Humanities and Economic & Social Research Councils in the United Kingdom. The workshops are intended to provide opportunity to interested researchers from each country to discuss current research and future opportunities for development, including opportunities for collaboration between both countries.
