Program

The program will be tailored to suit members of the group. In previous years, visits to the Conseil d' Etat, to a law library, hearing at the Cour de cassation, meetings at the Institut de Droit Comparé and the Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature were on the program. It is also possible to have a morning session dedicated to legal French.

Accommodation

The group will be based at the Colegio de España at the Cité Internationale de Paris which is located near the Cité Uinversitaire RER station. (to be confirmed). Candidates will be accommodated in single bedrooms with private bathroom facilities.

Registration fees

The Service Culturel will bear most of the cost of your stay in Paris which will cover:

Candidates will be expected to pay £120 registration fee (not refundable), to finance their travel expenses and two meals a day. It is possible to book extra nights direct with the Centre International de Séjour de Paris if you want to extend your stay.

Selection of candidates

Candidates should complete and return the attached form to the organiser by Friday 22 July 2005. If, for any reason you have to cancel your application, we should be grateful if you could inform us well in advance to enable us to offer the place to another candidate. Please note that there are only 10 places available and if we want the scheme to keep running, it is essential that only motivated candidates apply.
